Meet Stefan Strein.

Stefan joined the Cleveland Clinic in 2015 as the institution’s first Chief Investment Officer, where he is responsible for the strategic direction and investment management of $15 billion in assets. He co-Chairs the Cleveland Clinic’s Retirement Committee and serves on the Limited Partner Advisory Boards of several private capital firms. He also serves as a fiduciary for The Cleveland Foundation, Western Reserve Land Conservancy and NCTC. Stefan has three decades of investment experience, including management of diversified endowment portfolios, alternative investments, and direct investments. He holds an undergraduate degree from Washington College and a graduate degree from Johns Hopkins University.
