Meet Jim Hitson.

Jim Hitson, Assistant Vice President, Financial and Investment Planning Professional, joined New Covenant Trust Company in January 2022. Prior to joining New Covenant Trust Company, Jim held multiple roles in the financial services sector with Prudential Advisors as well as two boutique fee-only registered investment advisory firms, where he guided individuals, families and business owners in the alignment of their values with their financial, investment and charitable planning.

Jim has served as a youth pastor, ruling elder, chair of Mission Committee, and in adult Christian education classes in various churches in Colorado and California. Jim has also served in short term missions in Indonesia, South Africa, Madagascar, Brazil and Mexico and as a board member of a non-profit resourcing pastors and community leaders in numerous countries in Africa and Asia.

Jim holds degrees from Princeton Theological Seminary (M.Div.), The Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town, South Africa (MBA), and Samford University, (B.A.) and is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
