Meet Andy Shinn.

Andy Shinn, Assistant Vice President, Financial and Investment Planning Professional, joined New Covenant Trust Company in October 2022. With 28 years of value-investing experience in global private and public equity across financial services, consumer products, aerospace, healthcare and technology sectors, Andy led the deployment of approximately $5 billion in equity capital investments. Andy immigrated to the United States in 1982 and was introduced to his faith as a young child in the 1970s through Presbyterian missionaries serving rural farming areas in South Korea.

Prior to joining NCTC, Andy held senior leadership roles at The Carlyle Group (Washington, D.C.), Morgan Stanley (New York City, N.Y.) and PAG Capital, the largest Asia-based alternative asset manager with $50 billion in assets under management, where he last served as Partner and Senior Member of the Investment Committee. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He also attended Denver Seminary as a non-degree seeking student and was enrolled in the MBA Program at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
